1) GRANT OF LICENSE:
BankTree Software Limited grants you a single, non-exclusive license to use the BankTree software product provided you agree to abide by the terms of this Agreement. Only one user is authorized to use the BankTree software product on one computer at a time (and not by more than one individual via a network).

2) OTHER RESTRICTIONS:
You acknowledge that you do not become the owner of the BankTree product (software, programs and/or documentation). You agree not to transfer, rent,lease, sub-license, reverse engineer, modify, translate, or share the BankTree product, diskettes, or manual with any other person or firm.

3) LIMITED WARRANTY:
While we have attempted to ensure the reliability of the BankTree software product, BankTree Software Limited cannot assume any liability for damage that occurs because of usage of this program, whether or not in accordance with the instructions or specifications. It is not possible to guarantee the program's performance under all circumstances, at all times, with all hardware and software configurations, and with any user data, programs, or series of commands. BankTree Software Limited warrants the diskette media and manual to be free from defects in materials or manufacture for a period of 30 days from your receipt. When you open this package, or download this product, or use the BankTree software product you indicate you accept this as the only warranty. You agree that regardless of the form of any claim, BankTree Software Limited's liability for any damages or loss to you or anyone else shall not exceed the price paid for use of the program. NO OTHER WARRANTIES. Except for the warranty described in the above paragraph, there are no warranties expressed or implied, including but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, and all such warranties are expressly and specifically disclaimed.

4) NO LIABILITY FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES:
In no event shall BankTree Software Limited or its suppliers, if any, be responsible for any special, incidental or consequential damages whatsoever (including, without limitation, damages for lost profits, business interruption, loss of information, or any other loss) arising out of the use or the inability to use this product, even if BankTree Software Limited has been advised of the possibility of such damage. Some states do not allow the limitation or exclusion of liability for incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.

5) ONLINE BANKING SALT EDGE SERVICE
Support for online banking is provided using the service provided by Salt Edge Inc. You must agree to the Salt Edge Inc End User License Terms to use this service.

6) SUPPORT
Support is provided free of charge for the latest version of our software. Support is provided via the ticketing system via our website www.banktree.co.uk/support. In the event we have to transfer your registration details or restore your data files you may incur administrative charges. You will not receive a registration code as the registration details are automatically updated on registering the software. We are unable to provide support for, earlier versions of our software which has become unsupported.

7) COERCION, THREAT, NEGATIVE REVIEWS
We do not accept any form of coercion, threats, or blackmail with regards to leaving negative reviews on any social media. In the event you have a genuine problem, that we are unable to resolve, we would ask you to put this to an independent party that it competent in helping to resolve the issue. Any negative review left will result in this agreement being terminated and all support withdrawn. Further to this we will pursue legal means, to recover damages.

8) 30 DAY FREE TRIAL
The 30 day free trial will commence from when you have downloaded, installed and used the software for the first time. The 30 day free trial will expire after 30 days from first use, or from when a purchase is made by registering, even if this is before the end of 30 days of use.

9) REFUND POLICY
As the free trial allows use of the software for a period of time before a purchase is required, the software is classified as 'Try before you Buy', once a purchase has been made and the software activated we do not offer a refund. For the purposes of UK consumer protection (Distance Selling) regulations 2015 this purchase is exempt.
